HRC Cervical Locking Cage

A remarkable innovation, the HRC Cervical Locking Cage is a large product line of radiolucent cages, offering a variety of alternatives for Cervical Surgery. The unique design provides immediate stability through a simple rotation of the blade after insertion of the cage.

The HRC Locking Cage products have been in use for lumbar vertebral fusions since 2000 and for cervical vertebral fusions since 2001. All Eurospine cages provide large surface areas which can be filled with either bone graft or substitute to encourage
maximum fusion.

Key benefits include:

  • Titanium Locking Mechanism:
Laser marked locking blades, once inserted, ensure the cage is secure.
  • Anatomical Shape:
    For a perfect fit.
  • Option of smooth or serrated finish:
Can be purchased with teeth for further security.
  • Bone Graft:
Large fusion surface is provided to fuse the implant in place. Can be used with real or substitute bone.
  • Custom fit bone substitute:
This can be inserted in the central cavity of cage during procedure.
  • X Ray Witness:
Titanium spot to accurately verify correct insertion.
  • Titanium Reinforced:
    To withstand any impact.
  • Large bearing surface:
Provides excellent distribution of stress and avoids subsidence.
  • Simplified instrumentation:
Provides ease of use, distributes impact stress and eliminates risk of the cage cracking during insertion.

AP-Lengths: 12 mm and 14 mm
Heights: 5 mm – 7 mm with 1 mm increments

The material of manufacture, PEEK-OPTIMA LT®, a poly-ether-ether-ketone, gives this product radiolucency on x-ray, plus durability and flexibility comparable with natural bone, plus the high standard of biocompatibility necessary for long-term implantation.
