Spineart® Tryptik®MC Cervical Cage and Plate
The Tryptik®MC is provided with a compact universal set of instruments that are also used for the Tryptik®CA and PL systems. As with all Spineart® cage products, there is the option of purchasing pre-sterilised cages with or without pre-filled bone substitute.
The implants also benefit from the range’s typical slit, designed to stimulate fusion by exposing the graft to tension (according to Wolff’s law).
- Anti back-out screws
The plates’s anti back-out screws guarantee an optimal security.
- Load sharing concept
Tryptik’s slits enhance flexion of the device under a physiological compressive load. This concept improves load sharing between the device and a graft by distributing axial load through the cage and stressing the graft, creating an optimal environment for fusion in accordance with Wolff’s law.
- Anatomical shape
The sloping anatomical shape of the implant allows for an easy insertion and a perfect fit between the vertebral endplates.
- Universal set
The Tryptik range offers a four-tool single set for all anterior cervical implants. - Tailor made bone graft
The anatomical and resorbable bone substitute (Tricalciumphosphate) offers an alternative to autograft.
- Adjustable plate
The stabilizing plate’s free range of motion enables selection of an appropriate anchorage area for the screws and allows for multilevel surgeries.
- Removable plate
The stabilizing plate can be removed in order to treat dysphagia or post operative trauma.
